Thank you for your video! I used your instructions to make my first pumpkin pie from scratch. I did alter two things, I added a small pinch of cloves and I made it crust-less. I'm going to try this again for thanks giving.

I have come across so many different 'approaches'
to making 'delicious' pumpkin-pie from scratch. Also, tricks to making both the filling as well as the shell which help you to avoid some of the 'failures' that often show up in the finished product.
Unable to choose just one
one these recipies, I tried many. Lots of pumpkins !
That's OK. They're fun to carve. I have ended up with something of a problem however, a hundred pies which even the largest family couldn't finish.
I've never really been the most 'orthodox' of people,
no matter what it might be.
So after – I don't know how many pumpkins, I've come up with pie which I've not ever come across before, 'unorthodox'
to be sure, but the best !
In my own opinion of course.
