Easy Chocolate Cheese Banana Pastry! #shorts
My friend shared her recipe (thanks, Audrey!) with me a couple years ago and it was my first time baking and I LOVED it. It’s soooo good and crazy how soooo easy it is! Comment below if you tried it out! 😀
YOU NEED:
– Sliced bananas
– Rectangle cutted Frischer Blätterteig (fresh puff pastry sheet)
– Egg for eggwash
– Chocolate/shredded cheese
– or any other topping of choice!
Bake for 200°C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Nice short video. As I'm more of a meat guy I do something similar as side dish for BBQing. Maybe you wanna try it out. Do not slice the puff pastry in the beginning. Just beat an egg and egg wash the top side to become a little sticky. Cover the top with thin slices of bacon. On top sprinkle some fried onions. Roll the pastry to get a long roll of it. Then slice it into pieces. Egg wash them on the outside again, then put it in the oven as you did…
For another baking sheet you might buy some soft, pitted dates "Datteln". Roll each of them in a single, thin slice of bacon and use a wooden tooth stick to keep the bacon on it. Lay them out on baking paper – best would be special baking paper which absorbs the fat. So during baking they don't "swim" in it. Same oven temperature and time as for the pastry… Done. 😉
