I am growing baby watermelons in a large storage container on our apartment balcony.I didnt start them from seeds though,i bought the only two plants that were left and pollinated them myself.The first one ,a damn bird picked right off the plant so i hung up my wind chimes and they stay away.Now i have one that looks exactly like yours but about the size of my fist and im crossing my fingers it will turn out good.Im also growing yellow pear heirloom tomatoes,cherry tomatoes,lettuce,cosmic purple heirloom carrots,peppers,and cantaloupe.So far so good.
you can buy slices of watermelon or a half or a quarter and without seeds in the states; actually the seeds are there but they're white and totally digestible. right now I have really good and SWEET black grapes And, let 's not forget: delicious, fresh off-the-wine cucumbers started by a seed by runnersgarden.
