Hi Danny & Wanda. Love watching your channel. I am interested in trying to grow a small batch of both the chewing & syrup sugar canes in my city backyard in containters.
How do I go about ordering from you? Is it too late to plant now? Should I wait till spring? I am in zone 8A. Also, can you advise on how best to make syrup without a press or juicer. Thanks much!

Will the candy stick kind of sugar cane grow in NC. Where we are we get in winter about three good snows and ice storms but winter gets to around highs in the 30's and lows in upper teens. I am interested if it won't grow here I can grow it on my sons land in eastern NC. It's warmer there. Thank you. Glad to see Danny up and about.
Ate sugar cane just like that when I was a kid in Texas.
Shalom from Northern Australia! We use to eat sugar cane the same way! Also we mince up raw prawns and fish really fine with pounded lemon grass, chili, grated ginger, salt and garlic and worked it until it stuck together and then moulded it onto the candy sticks, basted it with a little oil and cooked them up on the BBQ. YUM. Blessings from my household to yours. ~D.
We are from South Louisiana and we are surrounded by sugarcane fields. The harvest season is just starting.

This are so awesome! Our sons love to go sit in the garden and just snack on the fruits and veggies. Sugar cane would be so cool to grow! And I'm sure they would love it!
