I want your setup!! And I am really interested in how you are progressing. I would love to see you grow some cherry tomatoes. BTW, you have any other suggestions for the bin? Amazon is not carrying them. Would clear ones work?
Well to encurage flowering you need more heat, warmer color of your t5 (3000K +/-) and shorter day/night cycle 14/10-12/12-10/14, depending on your plant. Also since your led light is dual (at least purpleish tint I can see) which helps flowering. ALSO light energy is lost by distane squared. that means if you lower your light halfway it increase lumens / PAR 4 times. MYlar is great but you have big tent and small lamp that means since energy of the light is lost by distance squared, that wall reflection has little to none effect. You would need smaller tent to do so. Also yesterday I went into my local hydroponics shop accordingly to them you probably has problem with insuficient air circulation inside your LED tent. Basically they explain me that airsystem is on the same importance level as lighting. Your T5 has airpump with moves air alot but your LED has none. Try to use FAN just to move air inside LED tent and to increase romm to tent gas exchange.
It kinda looks like you have algae on the carrots.
I wonder if the LEDs spectrum is more suited for flowering than green growth.
