Here’s a little montage which takes us from an empty nest box to first egg. The British Trust for Ornithology has a BlueTit Diary page which sets out their nesting and breeding habits – – and states that usually blue tits spend between one and two weeks building their nest. Some even build their nest in only a few days. Our female took between 6 and 7 weeks! Such a perfectionist. It might go some way to explain why this nest was so deep!
BTW As of the 7th June the parents have been spotted still feeding the fledged chicks in the garden.

Wow, I didn’t realize how much thought went into the nest construction. She brings the sticks in, and then takes them out because they don’t fit her aesthetic.
And then, just like human females, once the home looks good, she starts bringing in the garbage and dog hair. 🤣
I'm really excited for the babys to hatch 🐣😍
the bird is so cute:)
Is this a “Blue Jay”?
Awesome watching him/her check out the new diggs. Lol
Aww 💛 the mommy bird loves her baby bird. She's taking real good care of it! Such a sweet video, thanks for sharing.
You had to grind the edges of the hole
Checking out the new digs, then decorating for that homey touch … LOL
Love the way she inspects the site.
I've got blue tits nesting in a hole in my wall… I didn't know the hole was there, but I love having them. After they're all safely gone, I shall be providing some boxes for the next year's nesting seasons, rather than my wall cavity
Great job,i always love watching birds, but it's nice to see their nests arrange ment inside. Wonderful i loved it.
Title: from empty nest to first egg in 8 minuets…
46 days🤣🤣
Nice but male is not visible?
Galatians 5:16-21
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I just love how once they're all settled in and she's taking care of the eggs, he starts bringing over food and feeds her in the mouth sometimes so she can go about the baby business. 💖🥹 I'm so in love with the cuteness 🥰 thank you for sharing this! 😍🤱🏻
We humans take pride in our intelligence but considering the current state of the world, I think these birds and other creatures are much more intelligent than most of us. What a beautiful video! Thank you for building the shelter and posting the video.

Mordecai?
Woow Simply amazing
When i was kid i made a bird box in school. It was just lying on backyard on an old rug rack. After i finally decided to hang it on a tree i picked the box up and thought "Who the fuck put rocks in this box" and started shaking it and again thought "and how did they manage to put this big rocks in here, they are not coming out"… 🙁
A scared bird flew away and all the eggs broke. Fak me :((
My child mind didn't think there would be birds yet because "it wasn't hung up in a tree yet" – obviously the bird didn't know "it's not in use yet" 😐
I'm awake at 2:30am watching a bird make her house like what 🤣
Blue Tits are among the most beautiful creatures on this planet. Me and my family were lucky enough to see 13 babies fledge for the first time from our birdhouse and it was abaolutely spectacular. Every home should have a birdhouse.
Such a beautiful nest. Super relaxing to watch too. Greetings from Missouri ♡
WHERE IS SHE GETTING ALL THAT FUZZ AND MANMADE MATERIALS??
beautiful birds loved to watch:)
My sister's family used to have a wonderful Golden Retriever named Dixie. In the spring while she would nap outside in the sunshine, little birds like this one would often alight on her. Dixie didn't seem to notice, she didn't even flinch, as they'd take tiny little tufts of her soft thick fur away for their nests. I know it's a common thing, but actually catching a moment when birds find the softest and most desirable nest materials is such a treat!
A new thing for me was seeing this little bird hop up and down to perfectly tamp everything down and into place. My heart is nourished! ️
now I must move. keeping up with the jonezes again
Actually it took 46 days😤
The poor cam quality makes the bird look like it's teleporting.
Also this isn't 8 minutes, it's over a month of work.
Takes a long while to build a nest
HOW are Birds more wise & nurturing than humans?
Talk about “Planned” Motherhood.

You have to respect how hard these little creatures work; it’s amazing.
Absolutely beautiful 💕
Loved the way she scoped the place out on day one, poking Beek in wall as if to "kick the tires"!
I thought maybe she was going to bring in a Democrat voter registration card.
Do we realize so many flights before the first egg is coming. Wonderfully and respect for nature
Tight!
Allah hu akbar ❤❤🥰🥰
that the male coming in at 6:25? looks like he stayed out of the nest until the eggs arrived.
It’s creepy /cool how at first you see these large claws and then that Blackbird sticks his beak in the hole trying to get an easy meal
0:05 its like yo what up lol
This video is insanely popular. I watched it ages ago on my phone and then a few months later I went to my parents house and they had this exact video playing on their telly
Interesting to see what she was using as nesting material. She started with the coarser things as a foundation and it got softer as she got closer to where the chicks would be.
ITS SOO CUTEEE
Busy as a bee 😂

When baby daddy came to feed her, that's the sweetest thing I have seen in awhile!! I love watching birds but I have never been able to watch them quite like this. Thank goodness for technology. The things we get to learn and see are just truly amazing!! The video is a little too sped up for me though so I slowed it down to 0.25x and it's fascinating to watch their little movements.
