Apparently we’ve been cooking macaroni and cheese all the wrong ways and this is the new way! 😳🤣
What do you think? Is this recipe a game changer? 🤷🏽♂️

guys my yummy indian recipe :
1 box of Kraft Mac and cheese
a little sprinkle of salt
1/2 tps of mayo
the cheese mixture
a little bit of milk 🥰
damn this looks goooood
Dumb. Tik tok is for sheeple. Baaahh.
Cool nice technique
Oops. I added the milk right after the water, now it's too runny and I couldn't figure out why mine didn't look like yours.
Or just throw in it a rice cooker and automatic
Wash your noodles first until water runs clear, then cook whatever way you want
I toyed with the notion that I could probably do it this way. But I never knew that it was the correct way. The more you know.
Ok thanks I’m gonna coke it tonight!
I always boiled the water first then drained it. I have for years. lol. May have to try it this one sometime. Maybe next time.
Wow im shocked ive doing it the wrong way the whole time thanks
I am speech less
Boy that sure seemed like a lot of cream lol.
Your like Gordon Ramsay and his "touch" of olive oil haha.
Seems like it takes longer…
Tried it, and if tik tok tells you "you been doing this wrong the whole time" don't listen to them. They more likely found a hack that THEY like doing. Rather just spend the extra 3 to 4 dollars on good mac and cheese.
I love how we can hears the kids in the background. Sounding like a day care center in my neighborhood. Very unique👶👶👶
Noooo your suppose to drain the water out
Here’s an idea! Buy your own cheese (so you know where it’s sourced from and what it is) and grate It yourself?!?!
If I was making this then my dad or anyone said hey what are you making and I said Mac and cheese but a different way from a tutorial and they said by who I wouldn’t say because her name HER NAME!!!!!
That's a watery mess!!!
Or you can just buy your kids real macaroni and cheese or you could do for the water with beef stock instead of regular water
It's the starch coming out of the pasta as it cooks… it thickens the sauce.. the sodium citrate in the powder keeps it smooth and the butter gives the gloss
She sounds like she eats a lot of Kraft dinner..
I added a spoonful of pesto to the water and it came out wonderful
Some white people shit
This aint hamburger helper
This way is absolutely bussin I’m never making kd the old way again, I’m not one to switch my routines or anything but this saves dishes & is more creamier imo! Give it a try
Sorry 😂 people who don't stir their powders or seasonings in water or whatever first makes me cringe! Lol it ends up clumpy
I’ll never make kd the original way ever again! This made it super creamy and taste so good
I wouldn’t do this personally. I prefer the extra starch from commercial pasta be drained after cooking before i add my cheese and milk
Wow whipping cream? Heart attack kraft dinner.
theres no way thats not waterd down and the pasta is overcooked I use 2 cheese packets for 1 box of ronis heavy cream and half stick of butter You have to cook your pasta in reverse osmosis water for for minutes drain and let cook itself after being drained to achive aldent'e paster I like to mix a white and orange chedder to broden the flavor profile
Wtf?
That seems kind of dumb to cook it that way because you want as much cheese flavor as possible and when the cheese powder becomes part of the water and when the person said about the water 'cooking out of it' that's evaporation so there's obviously going to be less cheese!.. also the talking and noise in the background was kind of distracting, the best type video uploads are the ones without any distraction in the background I'm sure the person could have asked the people not to talk while the video was being done
I would like my 3 mins back
What I do is microwave the milk butter and cheese until thick then pour over the macaroni
You’re living life right! And now so am I 😂
Hell no she didnt!!!
Jack McBrayer???
This is disgusting and way too complicated for no added benefits, that's not how you make Kraft Dinner like…AT ALL. It's actually super simple and easy: Boil water, insert pasta, wait about 10min, remove the water and mix the pasta with cheese and add some butter/margarine, THAT'S IT.
Noodles never got done
It works if you dont add too much water. And for the love of god if you do, dont add flour without cooking it, unless its roux
I’m confused.. what’s the difference?? I’ve been doing this all along.
It's a sad day when ppl stop draining water from pasta… it most definitely does not taste better this way and u have to add extra cheese cause it don't taste like shit
I don’t find this any creamier. All I find is that all the starch from the noodles is in there in and makes it taste nasty.
It taste better because there’s way more fat with the cream. Fat = better taste = not good for you lol
Yes I actually really like this method! Add some Kraft cheese and melt it down and stir
