Ok I’ve tried all of these and here are my rankings on all of them:
Fondue: It’s perfect for the whole table. We ordered it with Toffee, Dark, and milk chocolate. I would highly recommend you order this as a shared dish for the whole family, as it doesn’t work very well as an individual persons dish. 9/10
Hot Chocolate: One of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it. When you go to max brenner, I feel like I’d rather waste calories on the more interesting chocolate dishes, rather than a hot chocolate, which I can get anywhere. 8.5/10
Waffle Celebration: This one is a steal, only if you have a big appetite. If you plan on ordering this and you know you get full easily (which you probably will), either don’t eat anything else at the restaurant or be prepared to bring some of it home, as each waffle is extremely filling and rich. While all of the options are great, I would recommend the Bannana Split, Chocolate Chunks, and Hazelnut waffles. 8/10
Chocolate S’mores sundae: This one is probably the most underwhelming desserts in the restaurant. It tastes delicious for the first few bites when the marshmallow fluff is still nice and warm, but as soon as everything hardens up, it becomes too much. The combination of straight up ice cream and marshmallows is a bit too much and definitely looks much better than it tastes. 6/10
Chocolate Pizza: I have been to Max Brenner a total of three times and I have ordered and completely devoured this dish each time. I have no qualms calling this the best desserts pizza and one of the best pizzas I ever had. Everything about this dish works perfectly in harmony together, and it somehow manages to not be so heavy, regardless of how it looks. I kept my order simple and just put the marshmallows and hazelnuts on top, and I haven’t looked back since. 9.5/10
So all in all, I would highly recommend going to this restaurant at least once. While you can order whatever you want, and I’m sure there are other stars in this menu that I haven’t tried yet, I would strongly advise you to order the fondue and chocolate pizza, as the trip is never complete without it.
Some other dishes that were really good were the Belgian Crepe and the S’mores concoction.
When going to this restaurant, I would also recommend not ordering any of the non dessert dishes there. While they’re all good in their own right, they’re not worth wasting you stomach space on, as the vast variety of desserts are much more unique, but are all very filling too.
So overall, I would rate this restaurant a 9/10. It really is amazing, and is definitely worth going to.
